Hi All.....

Haven't meant to stay away for so long.  My hubby and I have a big project going and frankly it is physically a bit much.  But getting it done, one day at a time!
I will have chemo again this coming Tuesday.  The biggest problem we have right now is that my insurance company doesn't want to pay for my CT scans.  We have a problem....so I will be anxious to hear what they have to say when I see the doctor.  They were supposed to be looking into it for me.
It is always something isn't it????

Hope you all are having a great January and 2012 has been good to you.....

Thanks for all the prayers.

Ceekay

Hi Ceekay! So nice to see your post today. I hope you and your husband are able to finish up your project soon. I'm sorry to hear about the problems with the CT scans. Dealing with insurance companies is so difficult and overwhelming when you are not feeling well. In fact I have to get on the phone later this afternoon myself. My heart goes out to you. When that happens to me I find the best thing is to just take it one step at a time and don't worry about finding all the solutions in one day. Just move forward a little each day. Soon the pieces will click together. Also if you are having trouble, you might call your insurance company or medical provider or hospital and ask if they have a "patient advocate" that might help you. That was an invaluable service for us when my mother was sick. She helped me with several different insurance problems and walked us through the process. Have a lovely day ahead! Delisa :)

Ceekay, I pray God's healing hands will lay upon your body and heal the infirmities within it. Though I do not fight the battle of cancer, I do fight a medical battle. It can be trying, scary, hopeful, always prayerful and not a day goes by I don't find beauty and goodness in it. I pray you find the same in some small way each day. Your spirit soars & that alone makes it worth while for to come by when you post. Hugs. Coopy
