Me and Avastin

I saw my doctor Thursday and again I am considered "stable"....no major changes in tumors...everytime I go in after a CT I pray that I am one of those miracle people when they say...we can't find any tumors!  But, that hasn't happened...YET!
We talked to my doctor about the Avastin and he is keeping me on it and hasn't had any notification that he has to quit...so, he told me to let him worry about it.  I guess that is what I will do!
Been busy the last few days packing away Christmas.  It takes me longer now, but I did it!  House always feels so nice after everything is put away.  We took a car full of "stuff" to Goodwill.....and I have more to go.  I keep telling everyone that stuff is like rabbits...it multiplies in the closets!!
Happy New Year everyone!  Thanks for supporting me with your thoughts and prayers this year!

I am so happy you are stable...I had lung cancer surgery and like you I have to have ct scans occasionally to see if it is back...so scary...so I always know how you feel and how awful each time you go back to see how whatever he says will effect your life...Lots of prayers..come for a visit when you have time...Happy New Year my friend

You make caring very easy for us ... here's to an incredible 2012!

Oh honey, it's great that you can take the medication, you have faith and that's the most important thing. I bet you will have a healthier year 2012, as hey!, you might even receive the news you want to hear! Keep the faith alive! I want to thank you dear Ceekay for all the support I have received on my first year of blogging from your generous heart and so wish you only the best for the new year 2012 and many blessings. Love,

Ceekay, I love that you said you have not been found tumor free YET! This is the year of your miracle, somewhere in the bible it states, By Jesus stripes you are healed. I am claiming this for you today sweet one!

So many opinions about meds - my daughter was on one for years that helped her so much; doc refused one day to refill it, said it's dangerous, put her on something else; a year later, that one's dangerous, the first is okay, back on the good one. So who knows - glad you are stable, that's good! Glad you were able to put your Christmas things away, it's so much fun to get them out and such a drag to put them away, isn't it?! Happy New Year, friend! ~ Mary

I'm so happy to hear that you are now stable. It's good that you can stay on this for now and then hope and pray that you hear those "all clear" words very soon. I will keep you in my prayers.
Oh yes, it does feel so good to get it all put away!

Hi Ceekay. All this time we've been bloggy friends and I didn't realize what has been going on with you! I will certainly pray for you, my friend. I like Angie's reminder that God is the Great Physician.

Mega Hugs, Ceekay! I'm glad your doctor has such a wonderful attitude. I agree, the meds MUST be doing something for you & I'm happy to hear you can remain on them.

I know it must be so hard to take one day at a time, but truly, that is all that ANY of us have.

Gentle Hugs,
