and it is sucking the energy right out of me.
First it was my iron levels. So I had an iron infusion.
Now, my liver levels are too high. Can't get any chemo until it levels out. How that is going to happen, I really don't know.
I am supposed to have biopsies on Thursday....but I don't want to.
I am frustrated and I would love to say something upbeat. Sorry. Just don't have it today.
Thanks for caring.

One day at a time, sweetie ... one day at a time. We're here.
Praying praying praying!!!
It's okay to be real, we love you that way. I'm still praying for you every single day, and love you bunches. Mary
Praying for an infusion of joy to overcome anything that comes your way. God is always beside you ... Blessings, Ann
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
You sure as heck don't have to be upbeat, CK...and you have every right to be frustrated beyond belief.
I'm so sorry this is taking such a toll on you & I truly wish there was something I could do to help.
I do know that USUALLY, the liver can regenerate itself, given enough time & good nutrition. Have they told you to avoid alcohol & Tylenol? Also, be sure to drink plenty of water to dilute & flush the drugs.
Your liver is stressed because of dealing with filtering the chemo. Stopping the chemo med will give it a chance to heal itself. It will also give your own iron stores a chance to catch up.
I wanted you to know we lit a candle for you at our church last Saturday evening before Mass. It will burn for a long, long time & our prayers continue that long, too. In the lighting of candles we remember and truly live the words of Our Lord: "I am the Light of the World." In the lighting of candles we not only pray, but our prayers become smaller symbols of the One Light of Christ. In burning candles, our prayers rise up to Heaven day and night.
