Tears for a Friend

A childhood friend is ending her battle with cancer.  It hurts my heart.  We wrote each other in the past year since her diagnosis...laughed, cried, encouraged each other.  She is the younger sister of a friend of mine from church growing up.  She has a lovely family, grown, grandchildren, a beloved teacher....and a zeal for life and Jesus.
So many are praying for her and her family....telling of her testimony in their lives...

how I hope to be just a fraction of that in my battle.

Rest in the arms of Jesus my friend.

Dear Ceekay,
I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet friend. Yes, she rests in comfort and peace and I am very sure your friendship on this journey is a blessing to you both. Life gives us very few really great friendships and to know someone with grace in the sight of such a challenge is truly inspiring.

My prayers remain with you always. I admire the grace and courage you carry through it all. Your strength is inspiring and means so much to all who follow.

Blessings,
Celestina Marie XOXO

I'm so sorry about your friend CeeKay. It won't be easy for her family and friends, but at least she with have everlasting peace and healing soon. Sorry for the grief that those of you who love her are going though. I'm sure you have been a true blessing to her in this time, as she has someone who really knows what she's gone through to lean on. If you've been her friend throughout your life, then you have been a loving inspiration in your own life CeeKay. I hope you have many more years to keep passing your testimony on to others.

Sorry you have had a rough patch, but I'm glad the pain is easing up for you lately.

Big, Big hugs CeeKay.... :( Tears, too!

The other day I had a chance to chat with my beautiful daughter who will turn 27 on the 25th. She's presently overwhelmed several things that are pressing into her young life and at first I was at a loss as to what to say to her... I remember well being where she is and sometimes words seem soooo hollow~

Ultimately I told her with God you can bear anything. He never said our life troubles would be easy...but he did say they would be worth it!!!!

Loss on this end means there's a celebration in heaven!

Thinking of you with love~
